5th Year student, Carmel Grey, explains what was involved when she and her 5th Year English class participated in a Fighting Words workshop on Tuesday, 10th February.
On the 10th of February, 5th years went to the Fighting Words workshop in Dublin city center. We didn’t know what to expect. When we got there, we were given a situation and as a group we had to come up with a short story. Then we got into pairs of two or three and could either come up with our own short story or continue working on the story we came up with as a group. I really enjoyed the day and learned a lot about short stories as a result of attending this workshop. Thank you to all the staff at Fighting Words for a great experience.

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
