On Tuesday, 2nd May, Ms O'Sullivan and the 5th Year Biology students visited Dublin Zoo to undertake their Ecology field trip.

The 5th year students visited Dublin Zoo as part of their ecology module in biology. There they had the opportunity to carry out a habitat study which gave the students a deeper understanding of what ecology means. They carried out quantative and qualatitive studies, as well as collection and identification of plants and animals that lived there. Students also had the opportunity to visit the animals in Dublin Zoo, which I think was the most exciting part for them!
