Dublin Contemporary 2011Dublin Contemporary 2011, MaserOn Thursday, 22nd September, the Art students of 5th and 6th year attended the Dublin Contemporary Art Exhibition in Earlsfort Terrace. The title and theme of Dublin Contemporary 2011 was Terrible Beauty - Art, Crisis, Change & The Office of Non-Compliance. Taken from William Butler Yeats' famous poem "Easter, 1916".

We were brought on a guided tour of the exhibition which investigated the expression of colour through each piece of art. Maser, who previously studied at Stratford College was presenting his work at the exhibtion. We really enjoyed that the artists invited the viewer to become part of the artwork. We were exposed to new experimental ideas in art. I thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition and would encourage anyone even if they aren't interested in art to visit it.
