The 3rd Year students visited Irish Aid and the Kildare Street National Museum on Tuesday, 15th January with Ms Kenny and Ms Donohoe.

The 3rd Year Class Groups visited Irish Aid as part of their Civic, Social and Political Education Project on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. They have gained a greater understanding about world hunger and poverty and will take action in January 2019. They will also work with Green Schools on a Dodder Tidy Up Project in raising awareness about climate change.

The 3rd years learned about the global issues of poverty and hunger when they visited Irish Aid, and how the Irish Government helps respond to international emergencies. Students then visited the National Museum Kildare Street where they had time to explore some of Ireland's most famous archaeological artifacts such as The Ardagh Chalice and the Tara Brooch.
