Ms. Donohoe arranged a closely fought Classics Table Quiz on Thursday, 20th December between the 2nd and 3rd Year students. A 3rd Year team won the quiz!
On Thursday, 20th December the second and third years partook in a Classical Studies competition on Homer’s Iliad. Team Polytropus consisting of Svetlana, Emer and Rory in third year won. This was the first year that a third year team has won the event. It was a tight competition; the difference was only a point between the Harpies, another third year team. The winning team received replicas of Greek coins with the goddess of wisdom, Athena on them. It was an enjoyable event. Rory (3rd Year)

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
