For our Junior Certificate project we decided to raise money for the D.S.P.CA. We had two guest speakers in from the D.S.P.C.A to talk to 1st, 2nd and 3rd years. They also brought two dogs along with them, and explained what they do on a daily basis for animal welfare.
On Friday the 20th of December we are having an animal dress-up day where you pay 3 euros and come in dress up as your favourite animal. There will also be a tuck shop open in the hall at break the same Friday.
We are also planning to hold a raffle in aid of the D.S.P.C.A sometime in the New Year. We have set a target of 500 euros for our project and would be happy if you could aid our cause.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.

Stratford celebrated Wellbeing Week 2026 (5th - 8th May), a special week dedicated to promoting positive mental health, physical activity and cultural awareness. Students had the opportunity to take part in a variety of fun and engaging activities throughout the week, including walks, workshops, cultural events, sports, and wellbeing challenges.
