Popcorn, raffle tickets and soft drinks were in abundance as students and teachers watched "The Help" on Movie Day (Thursday,10th January). The 3rd Year CSPE class raised over €500 for the charity "To Russia with Love".

On Thursday the 10th of January, the third year CSPE class held a movie day in school. “The Help” was shown in the hall at 1:30 and we were very pleased with the turnout. Overall, the movie was enjoyed by all. Food and drinks were also sold during the movie as to raise money for the charity “To Russia with Love”.  A raffle was also organised, also to raise funds.

We are very grateful to all who donated and put in money towards our charity. We were very pleased at the amount of raffle tickets sold! (We ran out of them in the end) And we would also thank the teachers for allowing time off for their students, and everyone who helped out.

As I’ve said, we are very grateful for your donations. We were delighted to find that we had gone over our target, as we managed to raise €526! The money is going to a great cause, and we hope you all enjoyed the day.(Click on blog title to see more photos.)
