3rd Year CSPE class holding a raffle to buy recycling bins for school

The 3rd Year CSPE class are holding a raffle at the Awards Ceremony, Friday, 28th October to buy recycling bins for the school. Jill Ivers and Joy Malone (3rd Year) outline the details.

RecyclingThe 3rd Year CSPE class are raffling bus tickets, eatery vouchers, goodies, cinema tickets, an Avoca hamper and more at the Awards Ceremony on Friday, 28th October. The funds raised will purchase two modern environmental and user-friendly bins for the hall: one for general waste and one for recycling.

The tickets cost €2 for one or €5 for a strip of five. The 3rd Years must write a report on this project which is worth 60% of the Junior Certificate CSPE exam, so please support us by buying tickets.

Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time

Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
