NEWS / 15 November 2012

Moya McCrea (2nd Year) describes the experiment to light Magnesium Dioxide that the 2nd Year Science class did on Thursday, 18th October. Magnesium is used to make fireworks.

We couldn't look directly at the light because it was so bright. In the photo, see the burning magnesium in oxygen to show this bright white light.
