On Monday, 22nd April, Ms. O'Sullivan and Ms. Cooper brought the 1st Year Science students on an Ecology trip to the Zoo and to the Phoenix Park. It was fun. We got divided into three groups. In those groups we found out very interesting facts about things on the ground. The best part of the day was walking around afterwards.

Today our class went to the Phoenix Park to learn about ecology. It was very educational and entertaining. We used sweep nets, beating trays, pooters and discovered what we can catch in a pitfall trap. We came across a lovely ladybird, a strange centipede, a wriggling woodlouse and more. I really enjoyed it! (Click on blog title to see more photos.)
