Carmel Gray, Christina Greene and Kate Dempsey (2nd Year) describe the visit to Rathmines Library to hear the author L.A. Weatherly talk about her new book, "Angel Fever".
Last Thursday, 22nd September 1st and 2nd Year students walked from the school to Rathmines library. Ms. O'Kelly and Ms. Ivers came with us. When we got to the library we looked at all the books they had and where all the books were. Then we went upstairs where we met L.A. Weatherly. She is the author of "Angel" and her recently published book "Angel Fire". She is currently writing "Angel Fever". Everyone was very interested in her book.

On Thursday, 22nd September, 1st and 2nd Year students went to Rathmines Library to hear about the new book "Angel Fire" by L.A. Weatherly. This was her second book of the "Angel" series. The first book was called "Angel". She told us about how she started to write the story and her method of writing. Then she answered any of our questions and it was over. In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
