This month's Book Club choice is Brian Conaghan's latest book, "The Weight of a Thousand Feathers". Mr. Conaghan - a Costa Children's Book Award winner - taught in Stratford a number of years ago and Stratford is always delighted to feature his latest publication. Senior students may borrow the book from the library.

"Child experts will tell you that I'm way too young to carry such a burden of responsibility on my tender shoulders. But really, what do they know?' Who is Bobby Seed? In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
