1st Year, Jeremy Messam, and TY students, Ciara Hopkins, Alex Tortosa, Gabriel Messam and Ryan Baker, report on the experience of the the Student Enterprise Awards Trade Fair held in the hall on Tuesday, 23rd February.

This Tuesday, 23rd February, our school participated in a Trade Fair. The first and fourth years had been working on mini-businesses for the last few months and this was the day appointed to show what we had decided to create for the Trade fair. We could create a service or a product to show, but only one group decided on a service. Two of the groups got through the Trade Fair on this day.

One of the groups was named Earphone Buddies adn they sold a product in which you could wrap your earphones around when you aren't using them. This helps as they don't get tangled with other objects which have cords, and don't get tangled themselves. The other group was called Canceal. This name was actually very creative, as you can put small valuables such as money in the bottom, via a small tube, but when the can is on its bottom it looks like a full soda can. Therefore it 'cancels' the goods you put in it.
Jeremy Messam, (1st Year)

"It was fun having people around. We had a money box. It was a can with no bottom and a container on the inside that you open with a coin. We made €40 from the idea. Ryan makes the moneyboxes."
