On Monday 7th March, the Israeli Ambassador to Ireland visited Stratford National School and Stratford College.
On Monday, 7th March the Israeli Ambassador to Ireland, Mr. Modai, attended morning assembly hosted by 2nd Year students. He gave an informing and interesting talk on his role as an ambassador and his previous jobs. I think we all felt we learnt a lot from it too. Towards the end a few 2nd Years played some beautiful tunes on tin whistles accompanied by Turlough Eccles (2nd Year) on harp. The Stratford Music group also sang beautifully to end it all. In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
