World Book Day is approaching ... Thursday, 1st March

A variety of events and activities are being planned for World Book Day. There will be the Bring A Book, Buy A Book sale, a Library display of favourite childhood books, quizzes and art activities. Watch for posters around the school!

There will be the Bring A Book, Buy A Book sale, a display of favourite childhood books in the Library, quizzes at Form Time and a Treasure Hunt in the Library, as well as art activities. Watch for posters around the school!

There is a World Book Day app which you can download from the App Store from 23rd February. This brand new App features exclusive new short stories from Malorie Blackman, Neil Gaiman, Charlie Higson, Anthony Horowitz, Sophie McKenzie and Rachel Vincent! 

  • Ms. O'Kelly needs your help - bring in your favourite childhood book (with your name on it) so that it can be displayed in the Library. If you have books that you no longer want, then bring them in for the Bring A Book, Buy A Book sale in aid of St. Michael's House. Ms. O'Kelly will collect all the books.

Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time

Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
