Tim Cullen (TY) describes in detail what was involved in the basic First Aid course that TYs completed in late September, early October.
TY took part in a basic First Aid Course every Friday for three week. We would start in the hall at 9am and end at 1.10pm.
We were shown videos, Power Point presentations, pictures and more. We would be showed in a demonstration how to do things, then we were put in pairs and practice what we learned. Some of the things we learned were:

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
