TY students contribute to the Young Social Innovators Speakout at The Helix: Teenage Mental Health.

On Tuesday, 6th March, TY students, Gabi Eppel, Diarmaid Kelly, Alice Murphy, Abi Grainger and Jonathan Sweeney entered the Young Social Innovators (YSI) Speakout in DCU. Their topic was Teenage Mental Health. Gabi Eppel reports back on the day.

Young Social Innovators Speakout 2012On Tuesday, 6th March, TY students, Gabi Eppel, Diarmaid Kelly, Alice Murphy, Abi Grainger and Jonathan Sweeney entered the Young Social Innovators (YSI) Speakout in DCU. Their topic was Teenage Mental Health. Gabi Eppel reports back on the day.

"Diarmaid, Alice, Abi, Jonathan and I entered the Young Social Innovators Speakout. The competition was held in the Helix in Dublin City University. We met Mr. Culliney there and then signed in. There were lots of groups from Leinster wearing different costumes. We were one of the last groups called. We had a fantastic day." (Click on thumbnail to open an enlarged version of image.)

Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time

Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
