Louis Gilmartin (TY) explains what happened at the TY Driving Day on Thursday, 31st January.
On Thursday, 31st January, the Transition Year students had driving lessons and lessons about the Rules of the Road at the Rosemary Smith Driving Academy. Although there were a few accidents, each of us managed to catch on well and pick up important things that you have to know. This Driving Day has encouraged us to focus more on learning about driving, pushed us towards wanting to practice driving and to complete our theory test.
Overall, I think all of us enjoyed this day and thought it was important for us.

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
