There are two CPD days for the new Junior Certificate Jewish Studies Syllabus happening in the Dublin West Education Centre, on 18th January and 14 March 2012. This is a National Syllabus which you can view on the DES website. While your school may not offer the syllabus as an examination for the Junior Certificate, you may be interested to know that there are cross-curriculur links between Jewish Studies and CSPE, RE and History. In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
