Well done to Gabi Eppel (TY), Jake Long (3rd Year) and Jonathan Sweeney (TY) who were selected by Ms. Finnegan for a basketball coaching course run by Basketball Ireland. The coaching course was held on Wednesday, 7th December.
Gabi Eppel (TY), Jake Long (3rd Year) and Jonathan Sweeney (TY) were all selected by Ms. Finnegan for a basketball coaching course run by Basketball Ireland. The first part of the coaching course was held on Wednesday, 7th December in Colaiste Pobail Setanta, Clonee. The second part will be on Wednesday, 14th December. Jonathan Sweeney (TY) and Gabi Eppel (TY) explain that on the first day that they were taught how to teach others. The students were selected because they show the necessary qualities of being an effective coach:

As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
