The 5th Year LCVP students, with help from the 6th Year LCVP class, organised a terrific Table Quiz, in aid of Barretstown on the last day of term, Friday, 21st December. The teams were very evenly matched, with the "Green Team" emerging as the eventual winners. Over €400 was raised for Barretstown - a charity organisation which helps rebuild lives of children after cancer operations.

According to 5th Year LCVP students, Abi Grainger and Gabi Eppel, "the money was raised by donations from the 1st Year mini-companies, the entrance fee per person and the raffle. The rounds that caught most teams out were the "riddle" round and the teacher's photographs round (when they were younger). There was a lot to organise. It was great to have help from the 6th Year LCVP students and the co-operation of the teachers who donated photographs."
