ESRI report finds strong appetite for senior cycle reform among pupils, parents and teachers

According to the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) report summarised in this recent Irish Times article, "students are giving up sports and social activities due to the stress and pressure of the Leaving Cert, according to new research on pupils’ experiences of second-level education."

The ESRI study identifies a strong appetite among students, parents and teachers to change senior cycle. However, there are mixed views on what type of change and how much is needed.

Hello to First Year 2024!

Hello to First Year 2024!

We welcomed our incoming First Years (2024) for a special visit and school orientation session today. With our current First Years on hand to guide and support, it was a fun filled few hours where everyone got to know each other, play games, meet teachers, learn about life in Stratford and find their way around their soon to be new school.

It was a delight to meet everyone and roll on September!!
