Stratford College had a really vibrant Open Day on Sunday, 17th November. The school and campus was brimming with families and prospective students who were given personal guided tours by current Stratford College students.
During Open Day our visitors got a real flavour of our approach to teaching and learning at Stratford. From musical maestros in the Music Room to a live play in the English Room, and finishing with the Principal’s Presentation at 3pm.

The 5th Year Computer Science class visited @Microsoft'DreamSpace on Monday, 10th February for a day of coding and problem solving. Students were split into groups and given a folder of paper materials and one marble. Each group had 40 minutes to create the longest, most creative "marble run" they could engineer!

The TYs flew out from Dublin to Luton airport extremely early on Sunday, 2nd February on the TY London Trip to explore World War II History, English/Drama and World War II Codebreaking and Computer Science history.

Luke Higgins in 2nd Year wrote this report: Although the Stratford Basketball team were saddened and shaken by the death of Basketball legend Kobe Bryant on January 26th, the 1st and 2nd Year Basketball teams did enjoy a brilliant day out in UCD on January 28th with both the 1st and 2nd Year Teams playing the 1st and 2nd Year teams of Sandymount Park Educate together.
