Leon O'Neill, Creative Digital Media, contributed his memories of Stratford for the 60th Anniversary book, '60 Years A Growing', which was launched in November 2014.
I will always be grateful for the guidance and direction in which my aptitudes were nurtured. A broad and open education is key to developing the mind of a young person and I am grateful for the teachers and staff who created such an environment. I am currently working in the media industry, in broadcast and digital formats, and I am pursuing further postgraduate studies in Advertising and Digital Communications. I look forward to an exciting future but will always look back fondly on my time in Stratford College.

As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.

Stratford celebrated Wellbeing Week 2026 (5th - 8th May), a special week dedicated to promoting positive mental health, physical activity and cultural awareness. Students had the opportunity to take part in a variety of fun and engaging activities throughout the week, including walks, workshops, cultural events, sports, and wellbeing challenges.
