Kim Comiskey, Media, contributed her memories of Stratford for the 60th Anniversary book, '60 Years A Growing', which was launched in November 2014.

I graduated from a BA in Media and French last year from DIT. I specialised in documentary production. In the final year of my degree I directed and produced a documentary 'Sur La Pointe', which screened at various festivals around Ireland last year and won the RTS 2014 Award from RTE for Best Undergraduate Factual in Ireland. Following this I interned in New York last summer on an independent documentary.

I am currently doing a paid internship in an innovation agency based in Dublin called Jump! I am mostly working in brand and marketing innovation. I am still very good friends with Stratford kids; Alan, Laura, Ashley, Leon, Damien and Eithne. Only recently I visited Damien and Laura in London for Notting Hill Carnival. I am extremely appreciative to Stratford for giving me such a brilliant bunch of friends that have stuck by me since school. Although we all went to separate colleges we have still remained friends throughout and have some hilarious memories of the past few years. I think some of the fondest memories of school days include our class trip to New York, the school plays, the fashion show and our 70s themed night in fourth year.
