I spent my youth in Stratford from the age of four to seventeen and like most things in life you don’t appreciate those moments until they are gone. Secondary in Stratford was another memorable experience where I enjoyed working with teachers like Mr Tracey and Mr Russell as they were both very much into sports. It’s only when you are older you realise the impact these teachers have had on your career.
When I left Stratford I continued my studies in IT Tallaght (Business and Marketing) and after two years I was selected from all the IT Colleges in Ireland to transfer to Commerce UCD. In 2007 I started in Ernst & Young based in Dublin, and continued my studies in the evenings and weekends to complete my Prof 3 and FAE exams and became qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2009.
In 2010 I quit Ernst & Young to set up DB Sports Tours. My vision was to create a service that could make all young football players, regardless of age or ability, feel like superstars while training and playing in the same top class facilities as their favourite Premier League players. DB Sports Tours is now a leading sports tour operator and FIFA player management company working with schoolboy teams and professional clubs throughout the world.
