Amy Bennett, Science Education - DCU, contributed her memories of Stratford for the 60th Anniversary book, '60 Years A Growing', which was launched in November 2014.
One of the things I really enjoyed about Stratford was that I had the opportunity to get involved in countless different activities, trips and events. I think that Stratford, its atmosphere and its teachers is an important part of why I decided to study education at third level.

As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.

Stratford celebrated Wellbeing Week 2026 (5th - 8th May), a special week dedicated to promoting positive mental health, physical activity and cultural awareness. Students had the opportunity to take part in a variety of fun and engaging activities throughout the week, including walks, workshops, cultural events, sports, and wellbeing challenges.
