Tuesday, 10th April and the Sam Maguire Cup arrived in Stratford! Students and teachers alike, all got to hold, touch and lift this beautiful and oh-so-famous cup! Thanks Mr. Priestley for organising this for us.
There was cause for celebration at Stratford College this month as both the All-Ireland and Leinster trophies stopped-off on their tour around the county.
Eager students posed for photos at lunchtime in the French room, many sporting 'Dubs' jerseys from Mr. Priestley's extensive collection which were also generously on loan.
The 'Sam Maguire' was accompanied on a visit of the primary school by Laura Kelly and Alex Doherty, who acted as custodians for the day.
The significant weight of both trophies was noticed by staff and students!

A new Science Club has started on Mondays in the Science Lab where we get to do some quick and exciting experiments to fidget our extra science fix. This week students made self inflating monsters! All are welcome and Dr. McAdoo cannot wait to see you there!!

On Friday, 10th October Stratford College celebrated student achievements for the past academic year. We welcomed Colm Keegan - poet, writer, dramatist - as our keynote speaker who shared with us the transformative power of poetry.
