Stratford College has been invited by Facebook to bring 5 students to attend their annual Anti-Bullying Ambassador Schools Showcase event in Facebook's European HQ on Tuesday, 26th April.
A number of students from Stratford College have been invited to attend Facebook's Anti-Bullying Ambassador Schools Showcase event in Facebook's European Headquarters in Dublin's Silicon Docks on Tuesday, 26th April.
Facebook say that "we have already selected 4 Irish schools (Primary and Secondary) as our Showcase Schools who have exemplified outstanding anti-bullying work since they were trained by us. At this event they will share the anti-bullying work they have been doing in their school and we will also hear from a number of our celebrity supporters on how they are taking a stand against bullying. This event is a fantastic opportunity to see how other schools are effectively tackling bullying, meet other Anti-Bullying Ambassador schools, further inspire your students and of course visit Facebook’s very cool European Headquarters!"
Our 4th years continue to prep our polytunnel. They have been busy planting garlic and onions, broad beans and radishes. They've also been composting the beds and weeding and this week we also planted out lavender and rosemary!

A new Science Club has started on Mondays in the Science Lab where we get to do some quick and exciting experiments to fidget our extra science fix. This week students made self inflating monsters! All are welcome and Dr. McAdoo cannot wait to see you there!!
