Tomas Hennessy (2nd Year) describes how well the U16 Boys Football tournament went for Stratford College against O'Connell Schools, on Friday, 18th November.
On Friday, 18th November, Stratford College played a football tournament against O'Connell's secondary school. When O'Connell Schools arrived they saw what they were up against. Ms. Finnegan split the team into two six-a-side teams. In Group 1, the captain was Sean McGuinness (TY) and in Group 2 it was Liam Hennessy (TY). Both teams did very well in the tournament - Sean McGuinness' team got to the finals. They displayed some very good shots but they could work on defending.
