Choir members, Tim Cullen (3rd Year), Carmel Grey (2nd Year) and Jorden Bukspan (3rd Year) tell us how they felt singing at Bloomfield Care Centre, Rathfarnham on Sunday, 27th November as part of Social Action Week (Mitzvah Day). Ms. Charry, Ms. Gordon and Shelley Bukspan accompanied the choir on the visit.
"The highlight was the old man reading a piece from the bible", said Jorden Bukspan (3rd Year). Tim Cullen (3rd Year) said that the choir sang for "about half an hour. It was lovely to put a smile on their faces and some people cried with joy". "There was a woman shouting 'thank-you' from coming!", remembers Carmel Grey. As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
