Congratulations to Peter Cleary (5th Year) who won a Leinster Silver medal for swimming at the 2011 Leinster Graded Championships at the end of January.
At the 2011 Leinster Graded Championships for swimming, teams from all over the country showed up to win their event. I'm part of the Templeogue Swimming Club and our whole team took part. I raced in two events - the 50m Freestyle and the 100m Freestyle. I came second in the 100m Freestyle in my grade in Leinster and with the time I achieved, I moved up a grade. The time was 1.09.32. In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
