October Happiness Survey - staff the happiest!

October Happiness Survey Ms. Reynolds
NEWS / 14 November 2012

Monthly Happiness surveys will be administered throughout the school as part of the Positive Education theme instigated by Ms. Reynolds. Ms. Reynolds analyses the October Happiness survey.

Happiness Survey October 2012 - The happiest group were the staff!!

We're delighted to reveal the results for Stratford College's first ever Happiness Survey. We had nearly 100% participation culminating in an average happiness rating of 75%. The teachers had the highest rating at 91%, while the first years were a close second in at 89%. Both groups scored highly on their sleep quantity and food quality. There was a noticeable dip in these areas for the second and sixth year groups; the two reporting the lowest percentage for their Happiness index. The third years and TY need to be commended on their level of exercise, both reports adhering to the recommended amount by 80%

Overall this is an impressive result, but we'll aim for higher next month.
Second and sixth year students need to look at their sleeping habits. They should aim to have between 7 and 9 hours sleep per night and to avoid pressing the snooze button when they wake up! The teachers need to see how they can improve their exercise habits - perhaps by walking or cycling to school this rate might improve.

Best of luck this month,
