Commemorating a miracle where a small jug of oil burned in the Temple candelabra (menorah) for eight days instead of one, Chanukah is observed by lighting a chanukiya every night for eight days, one light on the first night, two on the second etc. until eight are lit on the final night.

As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
