On 12th October, Green Schools organised the collection of used batteries and old electrical equipment to be taken away by WEEE Ireland.
Recently on Friday, 12th October, Stratford College and National School recycled all of its unused televisions and batteries through WEEE Ireland. This will go a long way with helping Green School achieve our new flag which is on energy. With the televisions finally unplugged its our first step towards our goal of having a more energy-efficient school. As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.

Stratford celebrated Wellbeing Week 2026 (5th - 8th May), a special week dedicated to promoting positive mental health, physical activity and cultural awareness. Students had the opportunity to take part in a variety of fun and engaging activities throughout the week, including walks, workshops, cultural events, sports, and wellbeing challenges.
