Green Schools awarded third Green Flag for Water

The Green Schools committee received notice on Wednesday, 26th April that they have successfully achieved their third Green Flag on the theme of water. Well done to the Green Schools committee and Ms Donohoe for all their hard work.

The academic year of 2016-2017 has seen Green- Schools in Stratford College grow from strength to strength. The commitment and enthusiasm of committee members combined with school support has resulted in us successfully attaining our third Green-Schools flag on the theme of water.
Oonagh and Senan are true ambassadors for all that encompasses the great work of Green-Schools. Their Herculean efforts will be rewarded at a ceremony on Thursday, 4th May at 11am in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Golden Lane, Dublin 8.
Congratulations to Oonagh, Senan and all of the Green-Schools committee for an epic year of work to date.

Stratford reach the 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals in RDS for the first time

Congratulations to 1st Year Computer Studies students - Yair, Liam and Giorgi - who made it to the ECO-UNESCO 2026 Young Environmentalist Awards Finals held on 12th May with their Scratch coding project called "Giorgi the Litter Fighter". This is the first time that a Stratford project has made it to the finals - so very impressive work!
