The 'Faces of Israel' group visited Stratford on Friday morning, 2nd March. Third Year students, Jorden Bukspan and Carly Gresak explain what they heard from the group.
On Friday, 2nd March, a group called the 'Faces of Israel' made a visit to our school. There were seven people all of which had a different story but shared one thing in common - Israel. They talked to us about their lifestyle, work, family, religion and informed us on the history and geography of Israel. (Click on thumbnails to open an enlarged version of image.)
We found their visit very worthwhile as we believe it is important for people to hear from Israelies what it's actually like in Israel instead of negative stories on the news.

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
