NEWS / 20 November 2012

A number of 3rd Year and TY students have been showing local residents how to use computers and the Web, in their weekly Log on to Learning sessions, throughout October and November.

We started Log on to Learning on Friday, 12th October. Each of the students were paired off with an elderly person. We gave them an introduction to the applications and usage of a computer. Every person was on a different level - some were learning how to use the keyboard and mouse, while others were setting up Skype accounts and booking flights online. Overall, it was funa dn we all really enjoyed it. (Click on the blog title to see more photos.)
