NEWS / 26 March 2012

Congratulations to Diarmaid Kelly (TY) who will be one of the Irish representatives at the International Finals of the European Youth Parliament this coming summer.

European Youth ParliamentA big congratulations to Diarmaid Kelly (TY) who has been selected to represent Ireland in the International competition of the European Youth Parliament (EYP).  It has yet to be announced when and where in Europe this competition will take place.  Diarmaid faced stiff competition to make it through to the finals and is one of only sixteen people to have been selected from several hundred taking part in regional finals over the past few months. Well done!

According to Diarmaid, "at the National competition the hardest thing was getting your voice heard. I was again on the Economy committee".
