Sports Day at Stratford is always fun. This year's Sports Day on Thursday, 7th May, was a really great day. The sun shone for most of it, everyone was in good humour, the music was good and the competition keen.
This year's Sports Day - Thursday, 7th May - was a gloriously sunny day, which slotted between days of torrential rain. Everyone was delighted, none more so than Ms. Finnegan and her group of helpers. The Sports Day timetable and teams were posted a week in advance, so that everyone knew what they had to do on the day. What a busy day for all concerned - Junior and Senior Basketball, Junior and Senior Soccer, 3-legged races for all years, Junior and Senior Sprints, Junior and Senior Tug-of-War, as well as the obstacle course and the sumo wrestling. Thank you very much Ms. Finnegan for a fantastic sporting day!

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
