Kara Stein, 6th Year, reflects on the visit the she and her class made to Marsh's Library on Wednesday, 28th January to see the exhibition, 'Lublin to Dublin'.

In Marsh's Library in central Dublin there is an exhibition entitled 'Lublin to Dublin' showcasing many original texts from the collection of Archbishop Narcissus Marsh. The title of the exhibition is taken from a handwritten description in one of the books from someone whose father had moved from Lublin and passed away in Dublin.

Most of the books were printed in Amsterdam in the 17th Century and would have arrived in Ireland from the UK. Also on display were quill feathers and ink which we had great fun practising Hebrew calligraphy. The library generously donated a book about Marsh's Library to Stratford College.
