On Wednesday, 18th September, all the 5th and 6th Year students visited the Higher Options Exhibition in the RDS. Ruth Somers reviews the day from her perspective.
On Wednesday, 18th September, all the 5th and 6th Year students visited the Higher Options Exhibition in the RDS. It was a really useful way to discover different courses and colleges. Going to it while in 5th Year really meant we could discover all colleges and gives us time to think about what career we would like to pursue in the future.
As we circled the RDS, visiting colleges, we picked up the prospectuses of the college that intrigued us and read through that evening, learning about all the different courses available in various colleges.
Along with discovering colleges in Ireland, we had the privilege of looking at international ones too. From England, to China, all enthusiastic staff and students of colleges abroad were happy to educate us of their colleges. A very useful and informative trip.

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
