5th and 6th Year Students attend Higher Options Exhibition

NEWS / 25 September 2013

On Wednesday, 18th September, all the 5th and 6th Year students visited the Higher Options Exhibition in the RDS. Ruth Somers reviews the day from her perspective.

Higher Options - RDSOn Wednesday, 18th September, all the 5th and 6th Year students visited the Higher Options Exhibition in the RDS. It was a really useful way to discover different courses and colleges. Going to it while in 5th Year really meant we could discover all colleges and gives us time to think about what career we would like to pursue in the future.

As we circled the RDS, visiting colleges, we picked up the prospectuses of the college that intrigued us and read through that evening, learning about all the different courses available in various colleges.

Along with discovering colleges in Ireland, we had the privilege of looking at international ones too. From England, to China, all enthusiastic staff and students of colleges abroad were happy to educate us of their colleges. A very useful and informative trip.
