On the last day of term, Thursday, 22nd December, 5th and 6th Year LCVP students organised a very successful Table Quiz for the whole school. Over €250 was raised for the Simon Community. 5th Year students, April Matthews and Christine Byrne explain who was involved.
On Thursday, 22nd December, our LCVP class ran a Table Quiz in the school to raise money for the Simon Community, as part of our LCVP course for the Leaving Certificate. We raised over €250. The LCVP students involved were: Anna Douglas and Alex Lai in 6th Year, and April Matthews, Christine Byrne, Khrystyna Brovko and Aaron Sheridan in 5th Year. In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
