Locker shelves and bio-pens impress the judges. Local Fiasco will represent Stratford College in Croke Park in March 2011.
The winners of the 1st Year Mini Company competition, Local Fiasco, will represent Stratford College in Croke Park at the Dublin Finals in March 2011. This will involve setting up a shop, writing a Business Plan, selling their products and communicating their ideas to four judges who will come from major Irish companies. Hopefully Local Fiasco can surpass the amazing acheivement of last year's representatives from Stratford College who were awarded a tropy for the design of their shop and the originality of their products.
Bag Boutique, another 1st Year Mini Company, sold eco-friendly bags. They also arranged a raffle on the day of the competition and sold delicious cups of coca with brownies.
Totally Typically Your Life, the other 1st Year Mini Company, sold lockers mirrors for those "bad hair days" and scrumptious chocolate/marshmallow kebabs dipped in a chocolate fountain.

In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
