Dublin City Student Enterprise Awards 2024: 1st in Junior & 2nd in Senior Categories

Two fantastic wins on Wednesday 28th February, at the 2024 Dublin City Student Enterprise Awards. And Stratford also received a special e-Bay award - well done Mr Brilly, Mr O'Callaghan and Co.

Congratulations to 1st Year Business students - Vihaan, Christian and Eli - who won 1st prize in the Junior Section. Congratulations also to TY Business students - Joseph and Liam - who won 2nd prize in the Senior Section.

Stratford wins at BTYSTE 2024

Huge congratulations to Liam and Joseph (TY) for their two wins at the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition: Sienna: Your dynamic AI Voice companion; Redefining Personal Assistance - won first place in the Intermediate Group Technology category and the Regeneron special award.

Bláithnáid (TY) won a Best Display Award for her project: a robot to help provide assistance to older people called “Helper 347” and is entered in the Intermediate Individual, Health & Wellbeing category.

TY's compete in SciFest@Schools 2023 with their coding projects

The TY's competed in the SciFest@Schools competition on Monday, 4th December showcasing their coding projects. The winners were:

1st prize: Sonny and Liam
2nd prize: Kaydi, Blaithnaid and Amelie
3rd prize: Aaron, Tomer and Johny

Awards Ceremony 2023: Stratford Student Council

The Irish Second-Level Students' Union (ISSU) Honoury President, Caitlin Faye Maniti, and President Shari Irfan @issu4u who joined the student councils from Stratford College @StratfordDublin and The High School, Dublin @HsdNews on Friday 27th October 2023 in @StratfordDublin and who attended our school Awards Ceremony. Congratulations to all recipients of prizes.

Two TY's win awards for The Mary Elmes Prize in Holocaust Studies

Congratulations to TY students, Kishaylin Reddy who received 1st Prize in the Art Category and to Stephen O'Reilly who received 2nd Prize in the Music Category of The Mary Elmes Prize in Holocaust Studies at the end of May 2023.

6th Year student features on front cover of Sunday Business Post's '30 under 30' Tech young guns

Well done to Ayush, who has been included in the Sunday Business Post's '30 under 30' Tech young guns for a third year in a row (and the second year to be included on the front cover) on 28 May 2023.

Stratford Green Schools Committee Achieves our 6th Green Flag - for Biodiversity!

Stratford College was presented with its 6th Green Flag for Biodiversity at a ceremony at the end of May 2023 in DCU.

Four students reach 2023 Bebras National Finals and two prizewinners

Hearty congratulations to 2nd year students Christopher, Ugo and Nino (12-14 years age category) and to 5th Year student Phoenix (16-18 years age category) who were invited to the Bebras Computational Thinking National Finals on 6th May 2023. Nino came 1st and Phoenix came 3rd in their respective categories. A phenomenal result!

TY team wins two awards at 2023 SciFest@College competition in TU Dublin (Blanchardstown)

Well done to Rachel, Jamie and Caoimhe who won two awards for their coding project called "Hidden Disabilities" - 1st in the Intermediate Technology category and a Regeneron special award for Life Sciences - on Wednesday, 3rd May 2023.
