Website of the Month: Free home access to Encyclopedia Britannica through Scoilnet

Teachers and students can now access the online edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica through Scoilnet. This is a fantastic database to help you research your homework and projects.

Britannica School EditionAccess to Encyclopedia Britannica is now completely free through Scoilnet regardless of your location in Ireland. Previously, home access was restricted to registered teachers but the service is now available to anyone who clicks on the link through Scoilnet.

This is a fantastic database, from a highly regarded source of information,  to help you research your homework and projects. You can access up-to-the minute articles, timelines and biographies. There are also videos, images and web sites which have been checked for their trustworthiness and authenticity. You can also access the Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary which has over 225,000 entries.
