This year we had three different things for World Book Da
y. We had to fill out a survey about the last book we read, our favourite book in Primary School and our favourite fictional character. T
he results were put on the Library display boards and on the 2010-2011 Gallery on the school website.
At form time we had to Drop Everything And Read (D.E.A.R.) for five minutes.
At lunchtime The Rathgar Book shop came to the school with books for different age groups. There was a raffle for a free book and World Book Day tokens. (Click on thumbnails to open an enlarged version of photo.)

As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.

Stratford celebrated Wellbeing Week 2026 (5th - 8th May), a special week dedicated to promoting positive mental health, physical activity and cultural awareness. Students had the opportunity to take part in a variety of fun and engaging activities throughout the week, including walks, workshops, cultural events, sports, and wellbeing challenges.
