5th Year students, Ethan Brady-Arnold, Kara Stein, Jake Long, Hannah Kearns and Sean Lysaght, represented Stratford College at the Inter-Schools Library Quiz in St. Mary's College, Rathmines on Friday, 2nd May.
5th Year students, Ethan Brady-Arnold, Kara Stein, Jake Long, Hannah Kearns and Sean Lysaght, represented Stratford College at the Inter-Schools Library Quiz in St. Mary's College, Rathmines on Friday, 2nd May. There were six rounds of 10 questions. The winning team (Sandford Park) got 46/60 - so by all accounts it was a very tough quiz. 18 school teams took part and it is open to 5th Year students. According to Kara, "we had a great time and met lots of new people". (Click on blog title to see more photos.)
In the run up to the state exams, Stratford's Wellbeing Team draws your attention to the suite of resources on gov.ie under the heading of Wellbeing support for Exam Students, Parents and School Staff.
As is tradition at this time of year, the annual rounders game took place between our outgoing 6th Years and Teachers. Despite great efforts by our 6th years and some fabulous play, Teachers came out victorious. Fair play to all who played in this game.
