Stratford celebrates World Book Day 2016 - Thursday, 3rd March

Thursday, 3rd March is World Book Day. It started with the 3rd Year assembly on Monday, 29th February celebrating books. On World Book Day itself the TYs are having a book sale in aid of St. Michael's House, as well as a variety of quizzes and events around the school. Please donate any books that you no longer need. The TYs are visiting the dlr Lexicon library in Dun Laoghaire on Thursday afternoon.

At the 3rd year assembly on Monday, 29th February, students read from a variety of books, as well as showing the World Book Day Award video that the TY Library prefects submitted to the 2016 competition. Watch it on the Stratford YouTube channel! 

What's going to happen on World Book Day itself? There's a book sale in the morning, a form-time quiz and various other puzzles in the Library. The TY students are visiting the beautiful library in Dun Laoghaire on Thursday afternoon. There's also #wbdteenfest on Wednesday and Thursday evening from 6-8pm. See www.wbdteenfest.com.
