Transition Year at Stratford College offers students space to mature and develop through a broad range of learning experiences inside and outside the classroom.
Transition Year (TY) is a one-year programme in the fourth year of Secondary School.
It serves as a bridge between the structured learning of the Junior Certificate and the more independent, self-directed learning of the Leaving Certificate.
Our Transition Year programme is full of varied activities and includes volunteering, adventure sports, law and creative writing.
See here for more details on Transition Year from the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA).
